Biography

Sheldon Davis joined Guardian Industries in 2013 and is currently Vice President of Science and Technology for Guardian Industries Glass Group. Sheldon is responsible for product development, which includes creating Guardian’s next-generation, high value-added and specialty float products, and developing new product platforms that create step change performance for the company. Before joining Guardian, Sheldon worked for the Cabot Corporation in a variety of positions, most recently as Director of R&D, with a history of delivering results by leading global teams to develop new products and innovative process technologies that address a need in the marketplace. He holds three patents and has a proven record of moving ideas from concept to commercialization in Asia, Europe and North America.

Sheldon graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Chemical Engineering and received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Materials Science from the University of Arizona.

Sheldon and his wife Kristin, along with their 3 kids, reside in Saline, Michigan.
