Matthew Kreilich, FAIA, LEED AP is a design principal of Snow Kreilich Architects. He is the heart of the firm's collaborative working model with an active participation in both strategic and detail design resolution. Matthew provides his design leadership on all of the firm's projects. Additionally, Matthew has taught at the University of Minnesota College of Design and Syracuse University as well as participated in visiting critiques at GSD and Washington University. Matthew was recently a juror for the Progressive Architecture Award and continues to participate on AIA juries throughout the country as well as lectures in both academic and professional settings.
Matthew’s design leadership and experience continue to be recognized both locally and nationally. His firm’s work has been recognized with numerous awards including an AIA honor Award, the Holcim Northern American Bronze Award, Chicago Athenaeum’s American, GSA Design excellence awards, Architect Magazines Annual Design Review and is a former recipient of the Progressive Architecture Award. The studio received AIA’s 2018 Architecture Firm Award, an honor that recognizes a practice that consistently has produced distinguished architecture for at least 10 years. In 2009 Matthew was honored with AIA National Young Architect Award for outstanding design leadership and named Top 40 Under 40 for Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. Matthew is also the recipient of the prestigious Ralph Rapson Traveling Study Fellowship which allowed him to study architecture in Mexico, Central and South America.
