Jamie is a senior partner in the Construction Law Group of the national law firm of Schiff Hardin, LLC and is resident in their New York office.
Jamie’s special focus on building enclosures is reflected in his creation of Schiff Hardin’s Curtain Wall Risk Management Program(CWRM), which was launched in 2014 to address the risks associated with innovative, high-performance facade systems. His 25 years of work in this arena along with his select team of Curtain Wall lawyers provides efficient counsel across the spectrum of stakeholders.
Jamie focuses his practice on providing innovative front-end project structuring, transactional documentation, contract administration and contentious dispute resolution to the owner, architect, engineering, and construction communities.
The “Business of Law” section of the Financial Times’ “Innovative Lawyers” commended Jamie for his innovative use of “tools to resolve financing deadlocks in construction projects.” The Legal 500 praised Jamie for his “in-depth knowledge,” stating that he is “more than a lawyer, he is a trusted adviser.”
