Peter Arbour has over 15 years of experience working on new construction projects, specializing as a facade system designer and consultant to architects. His professional work has been focused on the conception, detailing and construction of custom-designed building facades. He has a wide-ranging knowledge of building materials and the procedures of fabrication, assembly and construction of diverse building enclosure systems.
He is versed in the development of architectural concepts during the design process and their materialization and transformation through the fabrication and construction processes. This includes creating architectural details, developing structural concept designs, drawing schematic design and design development packages for cladding systems and structures, consulting with architects regarding construction sequencing and material assemblies, coordinating contractors and subcontractors and performing site inspections, as well as researching daylighting and environmental control systems for facades.
Since graduating from the Yale School of Architecture, Peter’s professional roles have included Façade Architect with Dewhurst Macfarlane and Partners, Senior Project Manager with RFR Consulting Engineers in Paris, France, US Sales Manager with seele, Inc., and, most recently, Partner with Vidaris, Inc.
Peter is the Owner of the award-winning Liquid Wall façade system. The Liquid Wall is in the final stages of prototyping prior to its introduction to the marketplace as a complete, architecturally versatile, low-carbon alternative to currently existing cladding and curtain wall systems.
