Jessica blends a high level of design intuition with sound analytical thinking. Her ability to develop compelling conceptual designs is matched by her technical knowledge and tectonic approach resulting in elegant, thorough design solutions. She possesses great facility with software and digital techniques enabling her to solve complex problems quickly and efficiently as well as communicate effectively with interdisciplinary collaborators. As Lead Project Designer of Apertures, she was instrumental in shepherding the research and development of a new standard masonry unit with integrated structural system and ensured its application stayed true to the original design intent. Currently, Jessica is interested in how the principles of sustainability can be amplified by form and tectonics.
