Carmen Johnson is a Senior Designer at MdeAS Architects whose design and communication skills have been integral to the success of 2 Penn Plaza and the surrounding PENN District plan. She brings 5 years of New York City industry experience to her role on the project and has contributed to the design and construction of every aspect of the building, including the ten distinct facades within the project.
She holds an M. Arch II from Cornell University with a concentration in discourse, which she utilizes to advance conversation around MdeAS’ work and the trajectory of the industry. She holds both her B. Arch and M. Arch from North Dakota State University and serves on the advisory committee of US Architects Declare for Climate, Justice, and Biodiversity.
