The College of Architecture and the Built Environment at Thomas Jefferson University is dedicated to excellence in design with a focus on educating students for practice in the global market. It is one of the few colleges in the country with architecture, interior design, landscape architecture and construction management programs together. This allows us to emphasize collaboration that brings our disciplines together to develop projects with goals of sustainable practice and innovation. Our students find creative solutions to real world problems that our professions face locally, regionally and internationally.

Thomas Jefferson University’s East Falls campus is a lush, green campus in the historic Fairmount Park system is just minutes from Center City. The university uses Philadelphia as their urban lab, giving students collaborative, hands-on experience in a major metropolitan area with thriving design and construction industries. The college partners with major corporations and nonprofit organizations to provide students professional, real-world experience, and give graduates a competitive advantage in their field. This dynamic approach to education and emphasis on collaborative learning, sustainability, and innovation prepares graduates to become future design professionals and leaders in sustainable integrated practice.
