Save the Date for our 2020 NYC Forum – Nov. 5
The Facade Tectonics Institute (FTI) is pleased to announce our half-day NYC Forum will take place on Thursday, November 5, 2020, hosted by the Ornamental Metal Institute of New York. This year’s virtual event is themed Pandemic Pantry: Digesting Covid-19 and Understanding the Lessons for Buildings and Facade Systems and will explore the following topics in three expert-led panel discussions:
- Adaptive Capacity: Building and Facade System Responsiveness to Changing Social Behaviors
- Site Impacts: Effects of the Pandemic on Field Operations and the Metrics of Building Construction
- Facelift: Lessons from Retrofitting the Tall Face of Modernism
