Call for Board Nominations

We invite you to submit nominations for a vacancy opening on the FTI Board of Directors — this board of directors' seat is designated for an individual working in the material supplier space, but we will also consider applications for individuals working in education, public interest, general contracting, building ownership/development, or fabrication spaces. Board participation provides an excellent opportunity to advance the mission of the Institute in accelerating progress toward resilience and sustainability goals in buildings and urban habitats. Qualification and application details are outlined below. We welcome nominations from all current FTI members for candidates currently playing a leadership role in material supply chain, education, public interest, general contracting, building ownership/development, or fabrication.

Deadline: Friday, June 25th, 2021

Qualifications:

• Must be, or become, an FTI member, or be employed by an active FTI member organization
• Have a history of employment in the material supply chain, education, public interest, general contracting, building ownership/development, or fabrication
• Have demonstrable experience and expertise with buildings and facade system implementation
• Have a track record of industry leadership

Submission Requirements:

• A statement of interest (one-page maximum)
• Headshot
• CV/Bio
• Email materials as one packaged PDF to Raditia Lasry

Board of Directors Expectations:

• Participation at quarterly board meetings (once/year in person)
• Attend at least one (1) FTI event annually
• Leadership of, or participation in, at least one (1) FTI Committee
